Maldives Fishing Tours (MFT) have seasonal packages that are catered to each group/individuals needs. Weather you love whipping the wand, or throwing big poppers, we can cater for all your requirements.
What sets Maldives apart from the rest is its shear beauty, described as a "Nation of Islands" you will find yourself travelling from one reef to another while taking advantage of the endless fishing opportunities along the way.
Wahoo, Dogtooth Tuna, Trout and GTs are some of the more common species that are found here, however there are over 100 species that we target, and all will get your heart racing!
THE DESTINATION
Dhaal Atoll / Kudahuvadhoo
Kudahuvadhoo is the capital of Dhaal Atoll and is where you will base yourself.
With a small population of just 4000, Kudahuvadhoo is the kind of village setting you would expect from a remote Maldives Island, forget the 6 star hotels and overpriced accommodation, this island offers a relaxed setting where you can immerse yourself in traditional culture, and meet the real Maldivian people. Your guide will make sure of that.
Kudahuvadhoo has an Airport and bank services and is one of the more developed islands in Maldives.
From here, we will be able to access surrounding attols, such as Dhaal Atoll, Thaa Atoll , Meem Atoll, Faafu Atoll and also in Laam Atoll, all of which provide amazing country for the avid sports fisherman.

MOHAMAD IMAD
Mohamed Imad , your guide and all round “Great Bloke” is reffered to on the Island as “Mr Zeikel” A local Maldivian, Mohamad has spent the last 5 years guiding clients from around the world and assisting them in catching their fish of a lifetime.
Mohamad is a former police officer and changed his occupation due to love of the ocean and hospitality.
He has worked for many 6 star opperations in the Maldives and Oman and more importantly, knows how to put his clients onto fish!

Billy Dee
Based in Australia and founder of Zeikel Fishing Tackle, Billy Dimitropoulos has spent his life traveling the world chasing exotic fish, in 2014 he designed a range of fishing rods that compliment his style of fishing and today Zeikel is a household name.
Billy has travelled on many occassions to fish recreationally in the Maldives and it is here that he met Mohamad, and together the two have been offering exotic fishing experiences to their costomners WORLD WIDE.

ACCOMODATION
Our facility can accommodate 4 anglers in 2 seperate studio style rooms, Rooms have separate bathrooms, break out veranda, WIFI, AC and are very well appointed .
The accommodation is in the heart of town, so you can easily take advantage of the supplied bicycles and venture out on your own to explore the culture rich town of an evening.

Our 7 day packages are packed with adventure and will have you out on the water promptly to take advantage of your fishing time.
Our Itineraries are always changing and are vastly dependant on weather, however the days start with breakfast served in your hotel at 5am for 6am start, where we will guide you to the vessel and set out for the morning.
Lunch is provided by way of a traditional Maldivian style camp, where your guide will cook up some of your catch over a wood fired beach oven.
Once satisfied we will fish the afternoon and have you back at your hotel by 1800hrs where you will have time to relax and dinner will be served to you at your preferred time. Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks and Snacks are provided in your hotel room at no charge.

Fishing will commence by way of your preferred style, popping, jigging, casting, you name it, we do it, and we will catch you fish!>

FAQ's
No, our boats are fully rigged, however we encourage you to bring your own gear if you prefer.
Unfortunately the Maldives is a Muslim country, therefore alcohol is not permitted.
Kudahuvadhoo is a remote island, and not visited very often by foreigners, the town is very safe and the people that live here are very accommodating, peaceful and friendly. Your accommodation is secure, and you have absolutely nothing to worry about!
Absolutely not, if you would like a day off there are other things you can do, like sight seeing, cultural activities, swimming, snorkelling and surfing.
Absolutely, as long as it is close by, we can arrange to pick you up each morning from your hotel.
Our boat accomodates a max of 4 plus captain. We can however take 2 vessels and accomodate 8 anglers if required.
MFT is a sports fishing set up. We encourage catch and release and prefer to showcase the range of sportfishing opportunities utalising certain techniques such as popping, jigging, soft plastics and even fly fishing!
